NAME OF DATA SET: INTERSTATE DATA TYPE: Vector;Line DESCRIPTION OF CONTENT: This data set consists of all interstate highways in Arizona. FORMAT: Arc/Info DATA SIZE: Data Set 7.5" quad Approximate Megabytes : .14 - HISTORY: Converted in the fall of 1988 from the DLG to ARC format. This data set was created by extracting segments coded as interstate highways from individual blocks of DLG data. The resultant interstate blocks were appended together to create a single data set. An item named CLASS,1,I was added and was calculated for ease of use. MAINTENANCE: Not active at this time. PROJECTION: UTM (Zone 12 with -3.2 million meter Y shift(northing)) NOTE: The data set distributed by the U of A has had the y-shift removed.
