Scale: 1:100,000 Source: USGS 100k DLG Format: Arc/Info Export Format The Lakes coverage is a polygon coverage that was created by reselecting "Lake or Pond", minor1 = 421 from the Hydrology maps. Lakes has both arc and polygon topology and attributes. In the compilation, an attempted was made to include "Manmade Lake or Pond" in the coverage but none were found. A frequency on the attributes of Lakes.pat gives the following. Frequency Major1 Minor1 1563 0 0 4587 50 421 110 59 421 The 0 items represent island polygons inside of lakes or ponds. A frequency on the arc attribute table for codes Major1, Minor1, Major2, Minor2,. Major3, Minor3, coastal. give some 80 different combinations. |
