Towers
Towers FCC regulated tower sites within the continental United States,
Hawaii, and the US Territories. This file compiled from the FCC Wireless
Telecommunications Bureau contains data relavant to locational
information such as city, state, coordinates, structure height
(AGL,AMSL), painting/lighting requirements and identifies the name and
file number of a single user. The antenna structures in this file are
generally only those which required FAA notification (over 200'AGL or
less than 200' but penetrate slope of a public use airport. These
antenna structures are defined as free standing sturctures, built
specifically to support or act as an antenna, or a structure mounted on
some other man-made object (such as a building or bridge). Objects such
as buildings, observation towers, bridges, windmills and water towers
that DO NOT have an antenna mounted on them ARE NOT antenna structures.
